PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional input device with reliability of input operation improved and further downsizing realized. SOLUTION: The device comprises a housing 1 having a storage part 1a; operating members 7, 8 protruded from the housing and capable of making pressing and tilting operations; reversing springs 5, 6 arranged in the storage part 1a and reversing in accordance with the pressing and tilting operations of the operating members 7, 8; and a signal detection means arranged in the storage part 1a and outputting signals in accordance with the reversing of the reversing springs 5, 6. The reversing springs 5, 6 are formed of the first reversing spring 5 reversing in accordance with the pressing operation of the operating member 7, and the second reversing springs 6 reversing in accordance with the tilting operation of the operating member 8, the former 5 having a plurality of jutted piece parts 5c formed extended from its outer periphery edge parts 5b, made thrusted out on top faces of the latter 6.
