PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain short access time by eliminating a second control circuit needed for disk control in the case of performing a track jump. SOLUTION: A control circuit is opened in the case of performing the track jump to an arbitrary target track in order to control the revolving speed of a disk, a pulse-width ratio matched with the target track is calculated from a stored pulse-width ratio, an electric motor is controlled by a signal with the calculated pulse-width ratio, and as soon as the target track reaches, the control circuit is closed again.
