PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling apparatus for appropriately maintaining sealing performance for a long time even under severer environment. SOLUTION: In the rolling apparatus having a contact-type sealing apparatus, where a plurality of rolling elements are arranged between an outer member and an inner member and the lip section of an elastic member is brought into contact with counterpart material, the elastic member is made of a rubber composition containing inorganic powder and a coupling agent having a sulphur atom in the structure.
