PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform clearance adjustment to an engagement part of an outer diametric surface of a bearing device with an inner diametric surface of a housing at low cost, and easily incorporate the bearing device into the housing. SOLUTION: This bearing device is provided with a first wedge member 2 engaged around outer rings 10 and 11 comprising the outer diametric surface 2c that is tapered to gradually contract toward one axial end, and a second wedge member 3 engaged around the outer diametric surface that is tapered in the first wedge member 2, and having the inner diametric surface 3c that is tapered to gradually contract toward the other axial end. By adjusting axial engagement length of the outer diametric surfaces 2c and 3c that are tapered with each other, outer diametric size R of the second wedge member 3 is adjusted.
