INTERLEUKIN 6 CRYSTALS HAVING NOVEL CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE

摘要

Crystals of interleukin 6 having a novel crystalline structure; a method of crystallizing the same; and a method of screening a compound capable of interacting with the interleukin 6 to form a complex. According to this method, interleukin 6 and its antagonistic inhibitor can be cocrystallized. Moreover, it is possible thereby to search for, evaluate and design an antagonistic inhibitor to interleukin 6.
