<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel electrode having sufficient electrode conductivity and suppressed in expansion by the reoxidation of Ni by controlling porosity and the pore diameter of pores formed in the fuel electrode, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel electrode is characterized by comprising a porosity of 30-45% and an average pore diameter of 0.2-2μm. This fuel electrode is manufactured by adding 15-30 capacity % of a pore forming material with an average particle size of 1-6μm which is extinguished in sintering to a fuel electrode green compact, and sintering the fuel electrode green compact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
