<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inside door handle device capable of improving the appearance without impairing attaching/detaching workability of escutcheon and enhancing commodity feature. <P>SOLUTION: An engaging part 41 arranged on the rear face of an escutcheon 13 is engaged with an engaging part 23 disposed on the outer peripheral face 22 of a handle base 11 and the escutcheon 13 is fixed to the handle base 11.
