摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and efficiently end jobs under execution without any practical change, to speedily start a job that is instructed by a later input to improve the performance of an image transfer system, and to also start a job preferentially according to user's intention, in an image transfer system and an image processing apparatus using the same wherein image data are input to and output from an image accumulation memory via an image transfer bus. <P>SOLUTION: The image transfer system comprises: an image bus Pb; an image input means 210; an image output means PTR; an image memory MEM; a memory control means IMAC for controlling the write of image data from the image bus to the image memory and the read of data from the image memory to the image bus; input/output control means CDIC, IPP for controlling the transfer of image data from the image input means to the image bus and the transfer of image data from the image bus to the image output means; and a transfer job start control means 31a for holding the bus occupancy information of a transfer job to use the image bus, determining whether or not new transfer job can be started on the basis of the bus occupancy information, holding the new transfer job in a job queue when the start of the new transfer job cannot be started, reading a transfer job of higher priority from the job queue when it becomes possible, and starting the transfer job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
