<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable image recording material excellent in both of sensitivity and safety for safelight and having preferable environmental stability, and to provide a method for manufacturing a planographic printing original plate having high sensitivity, safety for safelight and excellent environmental stability by using the above material. <P>SOLUTION: The photopolymerizable image recording material has, on a supporting body: a photopolymerizable layer containing (A) a compound having the absorption maximum at 650 to 1,300 nm, (B) a polymerization initiator and (C) a polymerizable compound; and an oxygen barrier layer having oxygen permeability A at 25°C and 1 atmospheric pressure satisfying 0.2≤A≤20 (ml/m<SP>2</SP>day), and containing at least one of a compound having the absorption maximum at 250 to 400 nm and a compound having the absorption maximum at 500 to 700 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
