<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a call registering device of an elevator, convenient for the use of the visually handicapped person by allowing even a visually handicapped person to easily register a landing call. <P>SOLUTION: This call registering device of an elevator includes: an up landing button 1 mounted on one side of a landing entrance; a down landing button 2 mounted on the other side of the landing entrance; an up informing device 13 mounted in the vicinity of the up landing button for informing the up operation on detecting an approaching user; and a down informing device 14 mounted in the vicinity of the down landing button for informing the down operation on detecting an approaching user. When further approach of a user is detected after the up informing device informs the up operation, an up landing call is registered, and the registration of up landing call is informed.
