FIXED FREQUENCY CLOCK OUTPUT HAVING VARIABLE HIGH-FREQUENCY INPUT CLOCK AND NON-RELATED FIXED FREQUENCY REFERENCE SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very precise clock frequency for an application requiring an accurate long-term frequency in spite of allowing a small degree jitter.

SOLUTION: A digital circuit allows the small degree jitter, for example, such as a video clock for a laser printer but generates the very precise clock frequency for the application requiring the accurate long-term frequency. Some jitters of a subpixel are received but an entire pixel rate remains accurate and definite. In a certain application, the jitter is sometimes desirable for making an EMI spectrum unclear. For example, when an input clock of a high-frequency is modulated, an edge of the video clock is also modulated while it is still within specifications of the jitter and the frequency.
