PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard meter system which can standardize common parts regardless of the type of vehicles or the like, can reduce cost, can increase the flexibility of design, and permits customization for users or the like. SOLUTION: An input/output system 30 for inputting/outputting measured quantity data indicating the status of a vehicle and a control system 10a for performing overall control of the system and processing of the measured quantity data are separated. The input/output system 30 is mounted on a meter body 2 equipped with at least one of measured quantity indicating means 3 to 6 and driving means 21 to 24 for driving at least one of the measured quantity indicating means 3 to 6.
