PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, linking maps with images automatically are difficult frequently in some areas, including urban downtowns, demanding navigation against easy straying, because there are many difficult places to receive GPS information where it is difficult to give time code to the image data on the basis of the time code acquired from GPS information. SOLUTION: A navigation data base 115 is prepared by the use of long images the transverse axis is projected parallelly which are obtained by arranging line images acquired from photographing at every fixed distance by a line sensor camera acquiring images every line in a row in turn in time series mode.
