PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine capable of connecting with an internet everywhere on a street or in a building. SOLUTION: Transmitting and receiving of data are carried out between a modem 96 connected with the Internet 30 and a personal computer and a PDA used by a user. The vending machine comprises a radio LAN access point 29 relaying the data to the Internet 30 via the modem 96, a sales processing section 98 processing sales of authorization for the user to use the radio LAN access point 29, and a display section 100 displaying information for obtaining the authorization to use the radio LAN access point 29.
