PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively measure viruses by using a method for detecting influenza type A viruses and B viruses, and to realize its measurement in a simple structure and shorten the measurement time in order to carry out a simple and rapid measurement required in clinical fields. SOLUTION: In the method, an antibody to the influenza type A virus or B virus is carried by an insoluble carrier particle, and the influenza virus is subjected to a process in which nucleoprotein of the influenza virus is extracted by using N-D-gluco-N-methyl alkane amides, and the degree of agglutination of the insoluble carrier particle is measured, which is caused by an antigen-antibody reaction of the nucleoprotein and the antibody.
