PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for adjusting the height of a lid for a house inlet, which enables the height to be adjusted without the cutting of a riser, because the height of the riser has to be adjusted for the adjustment of the height of the lid body, on ground that the inlet is interposed between sewer pipes and that the riser is interposed between the inlet and the lid body provided so as to be flush with a ground surface and a floor surface. SOLUTION: This device for adjusting the height of the lid for the house inlet is composed of two annular pawl parts 11 and 12 different in diameter, a fastening member 13, and a plurality of cut parts 14.
