METHOD FOR OBSERVING INTERACTION OF BIOMOLECULES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for observing the precise interaction of biomolecules without causing non-specific adsorption even in a sample in which various substances coexist, in particular in the measurement of surface plasmon resonance. SOLUTION: A hetero difunctional group type hydrophilic polymer is bonded to a nonionic functional group introduced into a surface in a covalent bonding manner and the biomolecule is immobilized on the surface of a solid by the direct or indirect chemical bond or physical adsorption of the terminal of the hydrophilic polymer and the biomolecule. The interaction of the immobilized biomolecule with a biomolecule or a biomolecule aggregate is observed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
