<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste incinerating treatment method and its plant for detoxifying exhaust gas in an incinerator by using a simple device structure for removing toxic substances mainly including unburnt components such as dioxines or CO from the exhaust gas generated in the incinerator. <P>SOLUTION: The incinerating treatment plant comprises the incinerator 10 having a drying region 17 for drying wastes, a main burning region 18 for burning the dried wastes, after-burning region 20 for after-burning incinerated residues after incineration, and a secondary burning region 19 for completely burning the exhaust gas generated by the incineration at the upper part of the incinerator, and a firing furnace 33 for giving heat treatment to incinerated ash 44 exhausted from the incinerator. It has an exhaust gas return line 35 for returning at least part of the exhaust gas generated in the firing furnace 33 to the incinerator and an exhaust gas introduction port for introducing the returned exhaust gas into one of the drying region 17, the secondary burning region 19 and the after-burning region 20.
