Co-Cr-Mo-BASED THIN WIRE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND PLANAR BODY, TUBULAR BODY, STRANDED WIRE AND CABLE MADE BY WORKING THE THIN WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Co-Cr-Mo-based thin wire having superior biological compatibility, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, workability and flexibility; a manufacturing method therefor; and a planer body and the like made by working the thin wire.

SOLUTION: The thin wire comprises 26-31 mass% Cr, 8-16 mass% Mo and the balance Co with unavoidable impurities; has a diameter of 300 μm or smaller and a circularity (= shorter diameter/longer diameter) of 0.6 or more in the cross section; and has an inner structure substantially consisting of only either of or only both of a γ phase (a Co-based solid solution of a face-centered cubic crystal) and an ε phase (a Co-based solid solution of a hexagonal close-packed crystal).
