<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the enlargement of a cooler by uniformly scattering loss generated in a semiconductor switching element for AC receiving converter circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The converter circuit 2 is a 3-level converter circuit, and two parallel connections are formed out of external U-phase semiconductor switching elements 11, 21 and 14, 24 and V-phase semiconductor switching elements 15, 25 and 18, 28. Four parallel connections are formed out of its internal U-phase semiconductor switching elements 12, 22, 32, 42 and 13, 23, 33, 43, V-phase semiconductor switching elements 16, 26, 36, 46 and 17, 27, 37, 47 having low rated current from the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
