PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rolling bearing and a dynamic pressure bearing from receiving unreasonable force when the operation of a turbocharger is restarted so as to improve service lives of the rolling bearing and dynamic pressure bearing, by changing to the dynamic pressure bearing, a turbine side rolling bearing of two turbine side and compressor side rolling bearings supporting a turbine shaft. SOLUTION: In this turbocharger in which bearings 4, 5 supporting the turbine shaft 1 transmitting rotation of a turbine blade 2 to a compressor blade 3 are arranged in two parts, namely, on a turbine side and a compressor side, the dynamic pressure bearing 4 is used as the bearing arranged on the turbine side, and the rolling bearing 5 is used as the bearing arranged on the compressor side.
