PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric contact made of an internal silver oxide/oxide system material for a downsized electromagnetic relay with high conductivity. SOLUTION: The electric contact made of the internal silver oxide/oxide system material is made by applying a deposited oxide diffusion/aggregation/growth heat treatment to an internal oxidation treatment material of an Ag alloy containing 5.1 to 9% Sn, 1.5 to 5% In, and 0.005 to 0.06% Bi, in percent by mass, and with the rest composed of Ag and inevitable impurities, and that, complex oxide coarse grains made by roughening ultrafine-grain Sn system oxide and In system oxide deposited by the internal oxidation treatment in the deposited oxide diffusion/aggregation/growth heat treatment are dispersed and distributed in Ag base metal.
