PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high-level electrophotographic properties and excellent electrical properties and mechanical strength, and to provide an electrophotographic apparatus and a process cartridge each using the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 comprises a conductive substrate 2 and a photosensitive layer 3 arranged on the conductive substrate 2, wherein the photosensitive layer 3 contains a hydroxy-gallium phthalocyanine pigment having the highest peak wavelength within the range of 810-839 nm in a spectral absorption spectrum in the wavelength region of 600-900 nm and a high molecular compound having a constitutional unit shown by formula (I) wherein X denotes a divalent organic group and Y denotes a divalent organic group having an aromatic ring.
