METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SPINNING PROCESS

A method and a device for spinning process capable of spinning-processing a product having a non-circular cross section orthogonal to a rotating axis such as polygonal and elliptic ones. The actuator of a processing roller (5) is driven by feedback signals from a force sensor (8) fitted to the processing roller (5) to control the pressing force of the processing roller (5) so as to form a work (1) along the cross sectional shape of a mold (3) so that the product having the non-circular cross section orthogonal to the rotating axis can also be formed. The motion of the processing roller (5) in molding is stored, the shape of the mold (3) near the point of the processing roller (5) in contact with the work (1) is estimated based on the motion of the processing roller (5) from a time point before one turn of the mold (3), and according to the estimation, the rotational speed of a motor rotating the mold (3) is controlled for processing.
