ANTICHOLINERGIC AGENT

A novel anticholinergic agent showing relieved side effects which are frequently observed in the conventionally employed anticholinergic agents is found out. Thus, it is intended to provide a safe remedy usable in long-term administration for urinary frequency caused by neurogenic bladder, bladder contracture, neurogenic cystitis, anischuria, etc., bladder failures typified by various types of urinary incontinence, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), reversible obstructive pulmonary disease (ROPD) or pain caused by cholelithiasis or bowel diseases. Namely, an anticholinergic agent comprising as an active ingredient, for example, (4-ethylamino-1,1-dimethyl-2-butyn-1-yl)-(R)-2-cyclohexyl-2-hydroxy-2-phenyl acetate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
