<p>A biological mini sewage treatment plant (1) for activated sludge treatment of wastewater without a preliminary settling in form of e.g. sedimentation. The plant (1) is of the kind that comprises a reaction chamber (2) for immersion into a wastewater receptacle (3) having an inlet (4) for untreated wastewater and an outlet (5) for treated wastewater, wherein the reaction chamber (2) is in form of a reservoir with a wall and an at least partly open upper end (8) and an at least partly open bottom (9), a diffuser (12) located at the bottom (9) of the reaction chamber (2), and at least one partition (17) for dividing the reaction chamber (2) into a number of compartments (18, 19). The bottom (9) of the reaction chamber (2) is made with a damper (10) for adjusting the size of the free opening of the bottom (9) so that optimum bioconversion and dwell time in the reactor (2) can be established for the individual need. An oxygen sensor serves for continuously giving input for maintaining a certain oxygen concentration.</p> |
