<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alumina cement composition keeping fluidity during construction at a high temperature and good strength developability at the same time, and excellent in storage stability, and a monolithic refractory therefrom. <P>SOLUTION: This alumina cement composition comprises an alumina cement comprising 20-95 pts.mass clinker with a mineral composition of CaO/Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, CaO/2Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and 12CaO/7Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and with a chemical composition of 25-45 mass% CaO, and 75-55 mass% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and 80-5 pts.mass α-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, carboxylic acids, alkali metal carbonates, boric acids, polyacrylic acids and/or polymethacrylic acids, phosphates, and stearic acids. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
