<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens which gains an adjustment power, suppresses leak out of a crystalline capsule, and saves a surgery time. <P>SOLUTION: In the intraocular lens accommodated into the crystalline capsule in an eye as a substitution of a human crystal lens of a patient's eye, the intraocular lens has an optical section constituted of a hydrophilic material and gaining an elastic force equal to the human crystal lens while maintaining a shape substantially conforming to the human crystal lens by the volume expanding by two times or more by absorbing humidity when being accommodated into the crystal lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
