ANTI-THEFT DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device for a vehicle which can inhibit the theft of the vehicle even when the turning restricted state of steering is fraudulently released.

SOLUTION: This anti-theft device 12 for the vehicle is equipped with an unlocked state detecting switch 32 and a collation controlling section 22, a shift locking section 41 and a pedal locking section 51, and a power source controlling section 23. In this case, the unlocked state detecting switch 32 and the collation controlling section 22 detect that the turning restricted state of steering by a steering locking mechanism is fraudulently released as an abnormal state. The shift locking section 41 and the pedal locking section 51 are arranged on the vehicle 2, and disable the vehicle 2 from moving. The power source controlling section 23 disables the vehicle from moving by operating the shift locking section 41 and the pedal locking section 51 when the unlocked state detecting switch 32 and the collation controlling section 22 detect the abnormal state.
