PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information on a branch point existing at a position not displayed on a screen. SOLUTION: This navigation device is equipped with a guidance point selection means 1 for selecting a guidance point from branch points existing on a travel road where vehicles travel, a quarter guidance information preparing means 2 for selecting guidance points standing outside an area displayed on the screen to prepare quarter guidance information including place names of a branch destination relating to the guidance points, a display control means 3 for setting a quarter guidance region for displaying the prepared guidance information to display the guidance information in the set guidance region, and a display means 4 for thereon displaying map information and the guidance information according to the control of the control means 3.
