PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reading of an angle scale easily from the direction of a pendulum shaft and also from the vertical direction to the pendulum shaft, to reduce operator's load, and to improve work efficiency by eliminating reading errors. SOLUTION: This angle meter is equipped with a pendulum 4 mounted rotatably on the pendulum shaft 2, a vertical scale plate 3 vertical to the pendulum shaft 2, a partially-cylindrical parallel scale plate 6 centered at the pendulum shaft 2, and a pointer 8 provided on an arm 7, rotating together with the pendulum 4 and moving along the parallel scale plate 6.
