PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment system for improving the acid resistance of molten slag. SOLUTION: The molten slag discharged from a combustion melting furnace 5 is quenched and solidified by water, and the molten slag whose grain sizes are smaller than 1mm is sorted by a sorter 20 and returned to the combustion melting furnace 5. Thus, it can reside in the combustion melting furnace 5 for a substantially longer time, giving a firm and uniform silica network structure to the molten slag and improving the acid resistance of the molten slag as products.
