PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten ice making time while retaining transparency in regard to an automatic ice maker making transparent ice. SOLUTION: The refrigerator is comprised by providing a water storage tank 43 arranged in a refrigeration chamber 42, the automatic ice maker arranged in a freezing chamber 41 or an ice making chamber 40, and a pump 44 and a water supply pipe 45 guiding water of the water storage tank 43 to an ice making part 15 of the automatic ice maker. An automatic water supply device is provided with the ice making part 15 freezing the supplied water, an ice crushing member 29 crushing ice made by the ice making part 15, an ice crushing driving part 18 driving the ice crushing member 29, and a rocking driving part 28 rocking the ice making part 15. Since the ice crushing member 29 is positioned in the ice making part 15, and the ice crushing member 29 is covered during ice making, water of the ice making part 15 is moved to a whole of the ice making part by rocking of the ice making part 15 in a limited space such as the refrigerator, and it is fully deaerated to facilitate making of transparent ice.
