PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive stainless steel fitting for a resin tube capable of easily and securely connecting the resin tube. SOLUTION: In a pipe fitting for inserting the resin tube 9 into an insert part 8 provided at a fitting main body 1, moving a sleeve 2 by screwing and fixing a nut 3 to the fitting main body 1 and pressing and engaging the resin tube 9 between the insert part 8 and the sleeve 2, a step part consisting of a large diameter part 2a and a small diameter part 2b are formed at an outer face of the sleeve 2. The length of the small diameter part 2b is determined so that an end face of the small diameter part 2b protrudes outside of the nut 3 while the sleeve 2 is inserted in the nut 3 and the nut 3 and the sleeve 2 are integrated by pressing to enlarge inner diameter of the end face.
