PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition showing a metallic lustrous feeling by orienting a brightening pigment regularly in a surface state, a coated film and a method for forming the coated film. SOLUTION: This coated film has a metallic coated film layer 4 containing 1-14% brightening pigment consisting of the crushed pieces of vapor deposited metal film based on pigment weight concentration, and 11-50 wt.% binder resin consisting mainly of a chain state polymer as a resin solid portion.
