PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel massager allowing a user to feel effects of the massage highly efficiently and capable of tapping without giving so much pain to the user even if the user is tapped rather strongly; and a weight body for a massager used in the massager. SOLUTION: A pressing time extending part for extending the time for pressing by a tapping part is mounted in a massager body comprising an operating part to be operated for tapping and the tapping part. The massager consists of the tapping part with a wide-range abutting face on the front side and a narrow-range abutting face on the back side, the operation part mounted in the tapping part to be gripped by one hand, a sheet-like elastic part mounted in the tapping part, and the weight body mounted at the distal end of the sheet-like elastic part.
