PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle for introducing a gene, enabling the gene to be stably inserted even into a comparatively hard egg cell; and to provide a method for producing the needle for introducing the gene. SOLUTION: The needle for introducing the gene is constituted so that the distance from the needle point to a position at which the thickness of the needle becomes 50μm may be <450μm.
