PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe for wall mounting, which makes a cabinet or a safe hardly removed from a wall, which prevents a crime by activating an alarm device before the removal of the cabinet or the safe, and which decoratively changes a surface of the cabinet or that of the safe. SOLUTION: In this safe, a basic frame (1) for wall mounting is composed of a side (1. 1) to be mounted on a wall surface, and a standing side (1. 2); an upright rectangular frame body is formed of the four standing sides standing from the side to be mounted on the wall surface; the standing sides are equipped with long grooves (1. 3) for inserting a safe supporting angle plate (2); the plate (2) is inserted into the long groove (1. 3) so that the safe supporting angle plate can be fixed by being fastened to the wall by mean of a bolt along with the side-to-be-mounted-on-the-wall-surface of the foundation frame; the safe (3) is inserted into the plate (2) so as to be fixed to the wall by means of the bolt; and a plastic decorative cover is arranged in such a manner that the alarm device (5. 2), which is activated by a switch (5. 3) such as a microswitch, is attached to its back wall, so as to issue an alarm by the activation of the switch (5. 3) when the decorative cover (5) is removed from the safe (3).
