The powder is produced by combustion of dissolved or liquid compounds of the oxide-forming agent. Combustion can have an oxidation, reducing, or neutral effect, and the aerosol can be delivered at appreciably higher pressure than the combustion gases. There can be concentric pipes delivering the higher-pressure oxygen and the compound axially inside the burner.
