A folding mobile radio device having a small-sized case, a simple structure compared with conventional ones, and a reduced SAR. The folding mobile radio device comprises upper and lower cases pivotally coupled through a hinge portion and an antenna (4) disposed on the lower case at a place near the hinge portion. An upper circuit board (12) is provided in the upper case, and a conductor (5) is provided along the lower edge of the upper circuit board (12) facing the hinge portion (3). The conductor (5) is a thin plate with a width smaller than the length along the width of the upper circuit board (12). At two portions on both ends in the direction of the ground width of the upper circuit board (12), the conductor (5) is connected to the ground of the upper circuit board (12).
