Two fins (40) are pivotally connected to the trailing edge (31) of the rudder blade (3). The pivot axles for the fins are connected to the moving parts of the fins and also extend along the trailing edge of the rudder blade. The pivot axles are located at the same distance from the rudder blade symmetry plane (35) and are also arranged symmetrically relative to this plane. Each fin is freely pivotable between a first position where it protrudes at an angle from the rudder blade symmetry plane and a second position in which it is substantially parallel to this plane. The end positions for the fins are symmetrical with respect to the rudder blade symmetry plane. |
