<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of an image forming apparatus, while preventing such troublesome work as turning the front- and back sides of paper or paper order, when recording on one side or on both sides of specific-direction ejection paper. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus (PR) has a paper transport control means (C3A), which controls a paper transport device (3) so as to transport the fed specific-direction ejection paper with a both-side transport system, when images are formed on only one side of the specific-direction ejection paper which is ejected to a paper ejection tray, with a specific end made the front end in the paper transport direction; and an image recording control means (C3C), which controls the image recording device (2) so as to record the images onto the specific-direction ejection paper re-fed to an image recording area via a paper inversion path, when the images are recorded on only one side of the specific-direction ejection paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
