<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a connector for a card and to reduce the cost of the connector for a card by removing a card holding structure from the connector for a card and by installing a new card holding structure in a case of a portable electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the card holding structure of the portable electronic apparatus having the connector 3 for a card, the card holding structure is formed in the apparatus case, and suppresses force acting in the thickness direction of the card 3.
