<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the surface shape of a photoreceptor during passage of time is always kept in the initial state by easy configuration in a relatively inexpensive and reliable manner by applying a toner input mode of inputting toner into a cleaning section for at least a length of time in non-image-formation. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic image forming apparatus using a photoreceptor 5 containing organic fine particles and inorganic fine particles in an outermost surface layer 5a, a toner input mode function to input toner into a cleaning section 2 for at least a length of time in non-image-formation is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
