PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated electric wire superior in high-frequency insulation characteristics, maintaining superior heat resistance of polyester resin, restrained from reduction of dielectric breakdown voltage caused by the generation of crazing due to the lapse of time. SOLUTION: The insulated electric wire is formed, by covering a conductor by a thin film insulation layer of a resin dispersion body composed of a polyester-based resin (A) as a continuous phase, and a core-shell polymer (B), composed of a rubber state core obtained from acrylate, methacrylate or their mixture, and an outer side shell, composed of vinyl-based single polymer or copolymer as a dispersion phase.
