PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installation floor area of a pallet replacing device for a large workpiece expanding in a plate shape. SOLUTION: A pallet P' is transferred to a table 115 from a pallet support member 17, after revolving and indexing a revolving base 15 by 180°around the vertical axis, by transferring a pallet P in a vertically holding state to a pallet installing surface of the vertically formed pallet support member 17 of the pallet replacing device 11 from a vertically formed pallet installing surface of the table 115 of a machine tool 101.
