PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-synthesizing method which makes use of various kinds of information which digital image data have so as to automatically and adequately synthesize the digital image data having the various kinds of information. SOLUTION: An image-synthesizing apparatus is provided with; an image information determination part 109 which determines image information which an optional digital image data file to be synthesized has; and a synthesis processing part 110 which corrects the optional digital image data file to be synthesized in accordance with the result of the determination and synthesizes image data based on the result of the correction.
