PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum protective roof with superior appearance preventing danger due to contact while securing sufficient functions of a sun shade, snow protection, or the like, namely light weight and sufficient strength, and allowing efficient progressing of assembly work by simple and easy work. SOLUTION: The aluminum protective roof comprises a pair of support members 21, a roof member 11 comprised by arranging a plurality of rows of roof boards provided with coupling parts in side rim parts of planar parts, and uniting the roof boards with each other by the coupling parts, and a frame member 31 supporting one part of the roof member 11. The coupling part is composed of a protruding bent part formed in a side rim part of one roof board and bent downward, and a recessed bent part formed in a side rim part of another roof board and corresponding to an outline shape of the protruding bent part. Coupling is carried out by inserting the protruding bent part of one roof board from a predetermined angle into the recessed bent part of another roof board, and turning it.
