METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SUBSTRATE FOR OPTICAL DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a substrate for optical disk efficiently by preventing deposition of dust. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the substrate for optical disk has a step of molding the substrate for the optical disk using a metal mold. An air curtain covering the periphery of the metal mold is formed when the substrate for the optical disk is molded. When the metal mold is opened to take out the molded substrate, the substrate is preferably sprayed with discharging air from the starting time of opening of the metal mold until the substrate is taken out.
