PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight concrete lid for a road side ditch, easily laying and removing a concrete lid for the side ditch of the road with hands, saving the labor costs, the transport costs and the construction costs, light-weighted and having high compressive strength. SOLUTION: This lightweight concrete lid for the side ditch of a road is formed of binder material, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water and admixture. Artificial lightweight fine aggregate is contained in part of the fine aggregate, the coarse aggregate is artificial lightweight coarse aggregate, the unit volume mass of the artificial lightweight fine aggregate is 0.2 to 1.5t/m<SP>3</SP>, and the unit volume mass of the artificial lightweight coarse aggregate is 0.7 to 1.4t/m<SP>3</SP>. In mixing, the cement is 18 to 45 mass%, the fine aggregate except the artificial lightweigth fine aggregate is 0 to 50 mass%, the artificial lightweight fine aggregate is 5 to 30 mass%, the artificial lightweight coarse aggregate is 10 to 60 mass%, and water is 3 to 20 mass% so that the unit volume mass of the concrete part is 1.4 to 1.8t/m<SP>3</SP>.
